Exploding Toads

Nature can be as horrific as it can be lovely. After wildlife officials in Hamburg, Germany, had been notified by concerned locals a full investigation was launched into what appeared to be animal abuse. After exhausting several avenues of possibilities, ruling out various potential sources such as contaminants, poisons, rats, etc.. the cause was traced to crows. Crows living in a park with a small pond discovered that there is a way to harvest the delicious livers from these toads without facing the consequence of touching the toxic secretions from their skin.

On another note, what's more terrifying than the idea of meeting a great white shark while cruising around the ocean? Probably the thing that eats them. Earlier this year four great whites washed ashore on the Ivory Coast, all having been robbed of their sweet, delicious livers. The first thought the average person is going to have is that this must be the work of cruel, horrible humans, poaching the vital organs of these innocent animals. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nature has a way of of showing us that life is full of horror and there's nothing we can do about it. In the case of the eviscerated sharks, the mighty Orca was to blame.
